These terms govern your access to the Chreos register, operated by Folio Finance (ACN [INSERT ACN]). By signing in you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a firm, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
Access is granted to a single named individual. You must not share your access, your sign-in address, or any credential with anyone else, including colleagues at the same firm. Each additional user needs their own access. We may suspend or cancel access that appears to be shared.
You may use the register for your own internal business purposes — research, screening, and informing your own analysis — including by exporting reasonable quantities of data into your own working files.

Export volumes are subject to fair-use limits which we may set and vary. We may embed identifiers in data supplied to you so that a leaked copy can be traced to the account it came from.
We may audit your compliance with this clause on reasonable notice, no more than once a year.
Chreos is a research tool. It is not a credit rating, a credit opinion, a recommendation, or financial product advice. Folio Finance does not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence and does not provide financial services. Nothing in the register takes account of your objectives, financial situation, or needs. You are responsible for your own decisions and for verifying anything material against the primary source.
Data is compiled from public sources — principally ASIC Form 388 lodgements, ASX disclosures, and published annual reports. See Data Sources. Figures reflect what the source document disclosed on the date shown against the record. Companies lodge annually and on staggered balance dates, so a record may be materially out of date through no fault of ours. Some values are derived from disclosure rather than stated in it; these are tagged as inferred, and the derivation is shown.
We compile the register carefully but we do not warrant that it is accurate, complete, or current. It is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties, and our total liability arising out of or in connection with Chreos is limited, at our option, to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If you are taking part in the Chreos pilot, access is provided at no charge for the pilot term. In return you agree to give feedback as reasonably requested. Access continues while you are participating and may be withdrawn if you are not. The register is still under active development during the pilot, coverage is incomplete, and you should expect errors — finding them is the point. Commercial terms after the pilot will be discussed with you before they apply.
The underlying public filings are not ours. The register — its structure, selection, classification, entity resolution, derived fields, and methodology — represents substantial independent work, and as between you and us it remains ours. Your rights are limited to those granted in clause 2.
We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these terms, and otherwise on reasonable notice. On termination you must stop using the data and delete copies held outside your own working records.
We may update these terms. We will tell you before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use Chreos after that means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of [INSERT STATE], Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
